The Security Bond Management System (SBMS) is a product of Softcell Solution Limited, built for banks and financial institutions that issue and service Bangladesh Government Bonds. It manages the full schedule of activities — from issuance to maturity — including reporting to Bangladesh Bank.
Transactions generate automatically across customer database, stock, sales, interest, encashment, commission, Paritoshik and lien. SBMS prints certificates, reinvests bonds, and produces statements for sales, interest payment, encashment, commission claim and Paritoshik claim in Bangladesh Bank formats. Web-based and desktop deployments are both available.
Stock, issuance, interest, encashment, commission and Bangladesh Bank reporting — the operational surface banks actually run on government bonds.
Manage stock quantities, set low-level alerts, and generate and send requisitions of bonds to Bangladesh Bank.
Issue or sell all types of Sanchayapatra, including foreign-currency bonds. Each issuance holds product and customer data, then generates a payment schedule.
Assign each customer a unique Customer ID that holds the detailed information required for bond operations.
Automatic interest and tax calculation, with paid-interest adjustment for early encashment of a bond.
Government rates change over time. SBMS keeps product rates with history so interest is calculated correctly for the tenor slab in force at issue.
Calculate commission to be claimed from Bangladesh Bank as per each product’s feature.
Keep all reports of sales, interest payment, encashment and commission claims in Bangladesh Bank formats.
Track Bangladesh Bank entries for sales and reimbursement of encashment and coupon payment.
Reinvest bonds for the same period, as supported by the product feature.
Generate Certificate, Bond Purchase Certificate, Encashment Certificate, Interest Payment Certificate and related instruments.
Lien marking, stop-payment status changes, and duplicate issue of bonds.
Audit trails for insightful user activity, as functions set by the system administrator.
Migrate existing data into SBMS, with options to enter previous records so operations continue without a break.
Create users with assigned rights. Only System Admin can create users and hold total access control.
